Las Vegas

These are a few pictures from our night in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Luxor and were in the pyramid. Easton was excited about that. We walked the entire strip the boys did so good. My feet not so good. I wanted to make it all the way to Treasure Island to see the pirate show because I thought the boys would love it. Well lets just say the pirate show has changed a little from when I last saw it. It was a bunch of half naked vixens dancing around luring the pirates in. I swear it used to be just the pirates. Derek said I was just giving him an aniversary present. Well Easton loved the fire in the show and the water show at the Mirage. I definately do not love Las Vegas. I don't get a good feeling there and Derek is pretty sure it will catch on fire and burn to the ground someday :)

11 Wonderful Years

Okay we just got back from a week in California and I have alot to post so I will do it over the next week. First, while we were gone we celebrated our 11 year anniversary. It is hard to believe. We are so thankful for the years we have had and all of the memories we have made. We are best friends and thankful that we found each other so early in our lives so we can spend all the more time together.

1st Annual Eddie Boys Fishing Trip

The first annual Eddie Boys fishing trip was a blast, dispite bad weather! Easton, Ashton, and Carter had fun camping together. We made it back in one piece, only one day late. Many memories were made. We are looking forward to next years trip!

REMEMBERING BABY BERKLEY

It is so hard to believe that it has been 4 years. It is still so fresh in my mind. We were able to take the boys to the cemetary and put our windmill on his grave. I am so thankful that he is buried by my Grandma Bell and everytime we go there I have a strong feeling that she is watching over him for us. I always thought that as time went by it would get easier. I guess on a day to day basis it has but it is still such a hard thing for me. I am so thankful for the knowledge we have of eternal families and that families can be together forever. It brings peace to my heart.

MUD SLIDE

Our neighbor friends the Weirs have a mud slide going down their backyard into the gully. The kids love it and it is one of Easton's favorite things to do in the summer. He definately needs a bath afterwards. It looks a little bumpy to me. No wonder they have bruises all over! Thanks Weirs for letting us enjoy!

END OF T-BALL

T-ball ended a few weeks ago and Easton's team had a little party to get their pictures and trophies. Easton had alot of fun playing with his cousin Ashton and having Uncle Cameron for a coach. Now it is on the flag football.
