Trip to Salt Lake

Grandma and Grandpa Rice took all of us to Salt Lake for a few days.  We went to Lagoon and to the Aquarium in Sandy.  It was so much fun the kids to get together with their cousins.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun times!!!
 Peyton's first bigger roller coaster!

 Watch out!
 Where should be go next?
Easton would rather ride the roller coasters!

Cannon's Flag Football

Cannon played his first season of Flag Football this year.  When he wasn't having a melt-down on the side lines, it went really well.   He scored alot, pulled lots of flags, and the last game of the season even caught a pass (you don't see that in this age group).  He and Tavin were so funny! They would chest bump after every good play.  Those boys are going to be trouble!
Peyton going to another one of her brother's games!

Touchdown!!!

Easton was able to play on a traveling baseball team this summer.  It was a good experience.  They traveled to several tournaments.  It was fun to keep playing baseball and make some great friends!!

Summer T-Ball

Cannon played t-ball this summer.  He had so much fun.  He would get a little frustrated if the other kids wouldn't do things the "right" way and he did get into it with one of the refs but overall it was a great season.  They had a great team and Cannon was a great hitter and player in the field. I think he might be a natural!

Grandma Sherry

We had to say goodbye to Grandma Sherry today.  She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in Feb. and after several hard months of battling, she passed away today.  We knew she didn't have much time left and so we went to see her this morning.  A few minutes after we walked out of the room, she passed away.  I think she was just waiting to say goodbye to "her" kids.  I am so thankful for Sherry and the wonderful woman that she was.  I have always been so sad that my husband and kids were never be able to meet my Grandma Bell but Sherry had been an amazing Grandma to my kids.  From the pumpkin patch to Ross Park in the summer, to piano lesson with Easton to fun times in St. George, she has been an amazing, loving Grandma.  She has treated us all like we have always been her family.  I am so thankful that Sherry was able to be buried in McCammon with my Grandma Bell and Berkley.  Now Berkley has two Grandmas to watch over him! We love you Grandma Sherry!!

Cannon turns 5

Cannon turned 5 today. This morning was a sad because we had to say goodbye to Grandma Sherry but we had a great party in the evening. We had a blowup slide and bounce house. I think we ended up with over 25 kids. We also had a bbq and cake and rootbeer floats. Cannon got spoiled rotten. He got so much amazing stuff. Then the night ended with a great game of baseball between a bunch of the boys and then a sleepover. So much fun. Even though this kids is definately my greatest challenge, I love him so much and am thankful for the great little boy he is!

Typical Cannon whipps it out anywhere!

Derek's family was supposed to have a family reunion at Steadman Ranch but it got cancelled.  We all decided to go anyway.  It was a ton of fun.  The kids had so much fun sliding all day.  Okay and the adults did too.  It was so fun to spend time with friends and family!

Even Grandma and Granpa enjoyed the slide

Berkley 2012

Another year.  Hard to believe it has been seven years.  I keep thinking it will get easier to go to the cemetary and visit baby Berkley but the emotions are still so close to the surface.  I am thankful that my heavenly father has blessed me with 3 beautiful healthy children.  I am thankful that Berkley is so close so that we can go and visit him.  Happy birthday baby!!!

Cubs Baseball

Easton played Cubbuck boys baseball this year.  He was on the Cubs.  They had a really great year and finish about in the middle of the pack.  Easton had a good year.  He hit really good and played mostly 3rd or 2nd.  He was roughed up a little bit.  He broke his thumb during an at bat early in the season and was hit in the face with the ball later in the season.  Derek and Uncle Josh helped coach the team.  He had alot of fun though and was excited to keep playing.

Helping Dad

The boys helped Derek work on Easton's room downstairs. They are taping it. I think it is time for the boys to have their separate space, for my sake!! Peyton must have thought the mud looked like hair gel. Silly girl!!

Cruise to Western Caribbean

We went on a cruise to Haiti, Jamaica, and Cozumel.  It was so much fun.  We went with our friends and neighbors Mike and Sushelle Weir.  They were so much fun to go with.  We got along great and got to do so many fun things.  We went on Royal Caribbean on one of the newest ships the Oasis.  It was amazing.  Definately the nicest ship we have been on.
Derek was a pro on the Flo-Rider
Me not so much!!
This is the nice Jaimaican lady that fixed my broken fingernail when riding the Flo-Rider on the first day. $30 for one nail!!

Trying to get a picture with the sunset.  It was cloudy most nights.
 On the beach in Haiti
On the boat ride to the falls in Jamaica
 Ice skating on the boat

Ziplining on the ship
Me and my bestie Sushelle.  We had so much fun.
 Rock climbing on the boat.
The last bite of the last lobster.  I think he ate seven.
Walking in the rain in Central Park on the boat.
Our waitress Heidi.  She was amazing!
